Installing Synthetic Turf
Installing synthetic turf involves several important steps to ensure the final product results in a lawn that looks and feels like the real thing. We start with site preparation before laying out and securing the turf. Once the turf is laid and secured with fasteners, we brush in a premium infill product and giving it a final grooming.
Site Preparation
We start with Site Preparation. Removing any unwanted grass or vegetation, rocks or debris, to level the the ground. Next we use a crushed granite product as a substrate base for compaction as well as proper drainage.
Laying and Securing the Turf
Next we unroll and per-cut the turf for each area we are working with. This makes handling and managing large pieces of turf much easier. Once we have the turf laid out where we want it, we use fasteners to secure to the ground along with adhesive and additional edge nails or staples along any seamed edges.
Infill And Clean-Up
Depending on the application or where your turf is being installed, there are different types of infill products that we brush in for cushion and support. For properties with pets, we have specifically designed turf infill products that help to prevent bacteria build-up and odors from routine pet waste. Lastly, we clean the yard and give the turf a final brushing.
